The first chapter of this ongoing project was developed during the Cow House Studios art residence in May 2018.
I was invited along side eleven other photographers to inspire and create new work during the two week intense residency under the name of 'How to flatten a mountain'. The project is continually exploring the theme of belonging and direction, as well as the physical and spiritual correlation between man and environment. The body of work was finally presented as a photographic series along side two artist books, one textual and one visual. Printed and binded by hand at the residence and exhibited at the Rathfarnham Castle in Dublin, as part of PhotoIreland Festival.
